Abstract

Traditionally, funding for both income support and care for people with disabilities is seen as coming from the Government. In fact, significant proportions of it comes from compensation systems, for both income and services. More again comes from private insurance and superannuation. The discussion will focus on how can we look differently at this complex area, so that our solutions are both socially beneficial and economically efficient.
